Former and Latter
The terms former and latter are words used to distinguish between two things. Former directs us to the first of these two things, and latter directs us to the second (or last) of them. Do not use former or latter when you are writing about more than two things.
Above or over?
above= ‘higher than’. above ന്റെ അർത്ഥം over. എന്നതിനോട് വളരെ സാമ്യമുള്ളതാണ്.താഴെകൊടുത്ത sentence ൽ over , above ന് പകരം ഉപയോഗിക്കാവുന്നതാണ്

Do they live in that mountain above the village?
Not:Do they live in that mountain over the village?
We usually use above, but not over, when there is no contact between the things referred to. Over or on top of have a more general meaning, and can be used when one thing touches or covers another:
Mother put a blanket over her.
Not:Mother put a blanket above her.
numbers ന് ഒപ്പം over ആണ് ഉപയോഗിക്കുക above അല്ല
I get over 100 calls a day.
Not:I get over 100 calls a day.
പക്ഷെ temperatures in relation to zero or (the) average, നമ്മൾ above ആണ് ഉപയോഗിക്കുക :
It was three degrees abovezero.
Not:It was three degrees over zero.
When we refer to temperatures in other contexts, we can normally use above or over:
The temperature is already above 30 degrees. (or … over 30 degrees.)
